The Ramee Grand Hotel & Spa in Bahrain is honoring the festivals of Navratri and Diwali with an exciting menu tailor-made for the occasion.

Navratri is a big part of India’s cultural identity, and is celebrated with great splendor and gaiety for nine days in October and November. During this time, devotees fast all day and dance throughout the night with great enthusiasm and joy. The dancers wear bright, colorful clothes and move to hypnotic folk music, resulting in an audio-visual treat for bystanders.

Diwali, also known as the ‘Festival of Lights’, is another big event on the calendar, filled with celebratory fireworks and prayers for prosperity and protection. Several specialty sweets are shared between family and friends to mark the day.

Kumar Ashwani, director of sales and marketing at the hotel, describes this grand festive season as “a time when old and young look past their differences and come together to observe this auspicious time.”

Executive chef Anurag Sinha has come up with an exciting menu for the hotel’s Indian restaurant, Rasoi. It is reasonably priced and feaures time-honored delicacies made with a twist by the culinary team. Every measure has been taken to ensure attention to detail. A live band will be playing traditional Indian songs and some popular favorites.

“May the joy, cheer, mirth and merriment of this divine festival surround you forever,” said general manager Rocco Santopietro. “We, at Ramee Grand, hope that this season brightens your lives and brings you a world of happiness.”

The hotel is also the official hospitality partner for several major events being hosted through the rest of the year. One of them is the Royal Jazz Festival, which is Bahrain's first international jazz festival curated as a month-long celebration showcasing talented artists of the genre from around the world and Bahrain.

The region’s most prestigious and popular exhibition, Jewellery Arabia, is another one the establishment has tied up with.

Ironman 70.3 Middle East Championships Bahrain is also one of Ramee’s partners. It is a prominent sporting event defined by a grueling triathlon combining swimming, cycling and running marathons.

Several other restaurants are located within the complex, including Ruka for Japanese delights, Lemon Tree for varied global cuisines and Tea Garden for delicious snacks. A lounge named Red Lions and the nightlife venue Ibrida provide a great atmosphere for those looking to unwind after a long week.

The property is within walking distance of Seef Mall and City Centre Bahrain, as well as all the major shopping arcades and local attractions. The hotel offers world-class features and services that include 166 rooms and suites, with exclusive access to the club lounge, a spa, fitness centre and the infinity swimming pool. - TradeArabia News Service
