Alba receives delegation from civil defence

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), an international aluminium smelter, recently received a high-level delegation from the Civil Defence and American Society of Safety Engineers – Middle East Chapter (ASSE-MEC).

The delegation was received by Alba’s deputy chief executive officer Ali Al Baqali; senior manager human resources, Hamad Al Shaibeh; senior manager safety, health and environment, Moh’d Khalil; and acting manager public relations, Fatema Al Mohri, said a statement from the company.
 
The visiting delegation was led by director-general of Civil Defence Brigadier Abdulaziz Rashid Al Amer, the delegation comprised ASSE-MEC president Eng Tariq Al-Ghamdi; Hamad Town Civil Defence Station chief captain Hamad Swar; and ASSE-MEC member, Eng Abdulla Al-Obaidan, it said.

During their visit, the delegation was briefed about Alba’s state-of-the-art technology and its commitment to the highest safety standards, it added.

Al Baqali said: “It is always our pleasure to welcome high-level officials from the civil defence and ASSE-MEC.”

“Such visits help us build on the strong ties between Alba and government authorities, which underline the leadership’s vision of enhancing the cooperation between public and private sectors,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
