Bahrain to complete delivery of 2,000 residences this week

Bahrain's Ministry of Housing has announced that all the 2,000 residential units spread across various district projects in the kingdom including the Salman Town, East Hidd, Al Lawzi and East Sitra Town will be handed over to the citizens within this week. 
 
This comes within the framework of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives to provide 40,000 housing units, and in line with the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, reported BNA.
 
Already the handover process is under way and its ninth day today since the beginning of the distribution of the 2,000 units, ownership certificates and keys were handed over to the beneficiaries, it added.
 
These projects include key amenities such as subsidiary electrical stations, a water station and another for wastewater treatment besides mosques, kindergartens, schools, a university, a major hospital and health centers besides a sports city that includes a football stadium, it added.
