Work starts on AM Yateem healthcare facility in Bahrain

Bahrain-based AM Yateem Brothers has announced the groundbreaking of its new healthcare facility located at Salman City in the Northern Governorate.
 
Upon completion, the Hussain Ali Yateem Health Centre, will span a built-up area of 12,218 sqm, and it will be equipped with a number of facilities that will include the latest treatments. 
 
The health centre will integrate several departments including; emergency, treatment, physical therapy, maternity and childcare, consultancy clinics, dentistry, and more, in addition to a parking lot for 209 cars, a reception area, and the capacity to serve 31,000 people.
 
In line with its commitment to achieving the National Health Plan, the project aims to benefit the local community by introducing efficient, sustainable health services of the highest quality, in addition to catering to the needs of citizens and residents in the kingdom.
 
The groundbreaking ceremony held yesterday (December 10) was attended by Lieutenant General Dr Sheikh Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health and Yateem Brothers Chairman Ali Hussain Yateem along with senior representatives from the company, the Council and the health ministry. 
 
The project aims to fulfill the needs of a large segment of locals and residents in the surrounding area, as well as provide them with quality services that will sustain the growth of the kingdom's healthcare system, it stated.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Lt. General Sheikh Mohamed said it was indeed a moment of pride to break ground on the first health centre in Salman City following the directives of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Crown Prince and Prime Minister. 
 
Hussain Yateem said: "We have continuously embedded a social responsibility approach as we commence the groundbreaking of the health centre named after our late father Hussain Ali Yateem, in honour of his legacy and lifetime achievements."
 
"As such, we strive to establish a variety of health facilities that contribute to the development projects in the kingdom," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
