Diriyah unveils first mixed-use commercial office project

CONSTRUCTION NEWS

Saudi-based Diriyah Company has announced the launch of its first mixed-use commercial office and retail project - Zallal - within the Bujairi District.

Construction is now well underway and when completed will include two low-rise office buildings with a combined leasable area of 6,000 sq m and 12 mixed retail and F&B outlets over an area of approximately 8000 sq m.

Strategically located next to the popular Bujairi Terrace, Zallal will benefit from proximity to a venue that already attracts thousands of visitors daily. The offering is also near the recently completed Diriyah Art Futures, and soon to open Bab Samhan Hotel.

The project has already received very positive reactions from prospective tenants, and advanced leasing negotiations are well underway with several companies and organisations.

Diriyah Company’s Group CEO Jerry Inzerillo said: "We have been delighted with the hugely positive reception that Zallal has had from the commercial sector, and we are in advanced negotiations with international and local companies eager to benefit from the central location in the heart of Diriyah and the diverse range of accessible retail, F&B and office space available."

"With construction well underway, Zallal maintains the exciting momentum at Diriyah, and when open, will benefit from the thousands of daily visitors to Bujairi Terrace becoming the latest completed precinct in our rapidly developing masterplan," he noted.

According to him, Zallal will also have direct access to Wadi Hanifah and enjoy stunning views over the Unesco World Heritage site of At Turaif in its location on the outskirts of the Saudi capital.

Among the key amenities at the facility include an easily accessible, 1,400-space basement car park facility built under Zallal with direct links to Wadi Hanifah, Al Imam Abdulaziz bin Muhammad ibn Saud Road.

Ongoing construction work is ensuring that the new precinct benefits from design features that embrace Diriyah’s near 300-year heritage of traditional Najdi architecture, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
